referencing Clear Blue Sky, LP, Album, RE, Gat, AK I was a bit disappointed when I saw the record. They've put a break between the sections on side one, which is not how it was on the original Vertigo release (it played like one continuous track).

Clear Blue Sky's S/T debut album from begins with the awesome "Journey to the Inside of the Sun" which is a massive 18 minutes long song with some killer solos. It has three parts which form together a really effective and epic track. The B-side is a bit more loose but I enjoy it very much too.

"Clear Blue Sky" is one of those albums that emerged from the virtually two-year-long period ( and 71) that presented us with a myriad of heavy psych/prog, most of which are still undiscovered. This record stands out because, despite the slight lack of musical prowess to bring them above their more renowned peers at the time, their ambition.

Country's most consistent traditionalist, George Strait, scores again with Blue Clear Sky, one of the best albums of his year career. Blue Clear Sky shows off Strait's range with a well-chosen sweep of material. "Rockin' in the Arms of Your Memory" and "I'd Just as Soon Go" prove that well-written, mainstream adult ballads can carry an insinuating strength when performed with the subtle.
