Toons Tunes From The Past Review by Gary Hill. This set is made up of two older (long out of print) albums from this French outfit. Disc one is The Morglbl Trio which was originally released in and disc two is Bienvenue à Mörglbl Land from two years later. This is some killer music that’s still as fresh today and when originally released.

"Bienvenue à Mörglbl Land" is a fine album. It combines humour with excellent musicianship. Fans of Zappa, Vai and Satriani should really check this out. With their absurdist cartoon album covers, and song titles including “Banjovi,” “Döner Dörgasm” and “Wig Of Change,” it’s safe to say that MÖRGLBL don’t take themselves too seriously. For over twenty years the French progressive jazz-rock-metallers have been experimenting with genre and delighting fans worldwide with their funny live shows.
