Hawkwind delivers on all fronts. Doremi Fasol Latido isn't over yet, and it finishes with the first ever Motörhead song. 'The Watcher' would later appear on Motörhead's first album, it is the first song written by Lemmy, and is a simple acoustic track with his grumbling vocals and fuzzy bass line. A good way to end a good album.

Hawkwind is an English rock band and one of the earliest space rock groups. The band was formed by ex-busker and blues man Dave Brock in Ladbroke Grove, London, who intended to marry simple three-chord rock with experimental electronic music. He cites his influences for the band at the time as The Moody Blues, Steve Miller Band and the krautrock scene of Kraftwerk, Neu! and particularly Can.

Doremi is a fantastic album, it was my first Hawkwind album and will always be my favourite. Having said that, Space Ritual is the greatest live album ever recorded by anyone, ever. Fact. It captures an amazing moment in time. IMO the original mix of SR is better than the post ‘96 remasters. More balanced, more ‘spacey’, smoother and more.
