The "Psychadelic Jungle" album was recorded in the early 80's and as a gift to those who buy this album the EP "Gravest Hits" () is presented on this CD as well. The production is nonexistent, the band is chaotic, the lyrics are nonsensical, but it's damn near impossible not to enjoy The Cramps' music/5(71).

It was released in May on I.R.S. Records. It was engineered by Paul McKenna and recorded in January at A&M Studios. It was self-produced by the Cramps. The photo on the back cover of the album was taken by the noted photographer and director Anton Corbijn.

One of the greatest rock'n'roll discs out there, this combines The Cramps classic Gravest Hits e.p. (five covers, all produced by Alex "Big Star" Chilton, all classics) and one of their very best albums Psychedelic Jungle.

The Cramps' second release, 's "Psychedelic Jungle," is a logical continuation from the band's debut "Songs the Lord Taught Us." Even though this album is a little more tuneful and refined than its predecessor, "Psychedelic" prooves that the Cramps have not Reviews:
